📦 Product Bundles App for Shopify

Vista Bundles

Sell Bundles Without Overselling the Products Inside Them. Inventory Stays in Sync — Always.

Vista lets you build fixed bundles, mix-and-match kits, and volume tiers that automatically sync inventory down to each component SKU — so a bundle sale never oversells a product you’re also selling on its own.

Every bundle sale deducts real component stock — no separate inventory pool to babysit.

Why Bundles Break Inventory on Shopify More Often Than They Should

Shopify doesn’t natively track a bundle as a combination of its component products’ stock. Left unmanaged, a bundle can keep selling after one of its components sells out elsewhere in the store — a customer buys the last unit of a product individually, and the bundle containing that same product shows as available for another twenty orders. The result is overselling: orders you’ve accepted and can’t fulfill, refunds, and a fulfillment team finding out the hard way.

The same gap shows up with discounts. Shopify applies only one product discount per line item, and any bundle-level discount has to target the bundle’s parent product specifically — not the individual components inside it. Merchants running a sitewide sale alongside bundles commonly find the promo code “does nothing” on bundle products, when what’s actually happening is the discount was never configured to apply to the bundle parent in the first place.

Both problems are avoidable, but they require the bundling app to actually track component-level stock in real time and generate a native Shopify discount that targets the right product — not just display a bundle nicely on the front end.

Bundles That Track Real Stock, Not a Separate Number

1

Real-Time Component Sync

Every bundle sale deducts stock from each component product’s actual inventory — the same count used everywhere else in your store.

2

Fixed, Mix & Match, and Tiered Bundles

Build simple fixed sets, let customers pick their own combination, or offer volume pricing that scales with quantity.

3

Native Discount Targeting

Bundle discounts are generated as native Shopify discounts targeting the bundle parent — so sitewide promo codes stack the way merchants expect.

4

Lightweight Storefront Widget

Bundle selection loads without adding meaningful weight to page speed — no bloated scripts stacking on the product page.

Where Most Bundle Apps Lose Inventory Accuracy — And How Vista Avoids It

Overselling on bundles almost always traces back to one root cause: the app tracks the bundle’s own stock count instead of continuously checking the stock of the products inside it. That works fine until a component is sold individually elsewhere — at which point the bundle’s stored count goes stale immediately, and nothing updates it until someone notices.

Vista doesn’t give a bundle its own inventory number at all. Each bundle is a live reference to its component SKUs, so the moment a component’s stock changes — from a bundle sale, an individual sale, a return, or a manual adjustment — the bundle’s availability reflects it instantly. There’s no separate count to fall out of sync, because there’s no separate count.

The same logic applies to discounts. Rather than calculating a bundle price client-side and hoping it matches at checkout, Vista creates the discount as a native Shopify automatic discount scoped to the bundle’s parent product. That’s what allows a sitewide promo code to combine correctly with a bundle price instead of silently failing to apply — a distinction that matters the first time a merchant runs a seasonal sale alongside their bundles.

Frequently Asked Questions

If a component sells out, does the bundle automatically stop selling?

[Confirm exact behavior — e.g., bundle goes out of stock the moment any required component hits zero — and state it precisely.]

Will a sitewide discount code work on top of a bundle price?

Yes, as long as combination settings are enabled on both the bundle discount and the promo code — Vista’s discounts are created as native Shopify discounts scoped to the bundle parent specifically to support this.

Does Vista work with 3PL or warehouse management systems?

[Confirm against your actual integrations — this is a common evaluation question for merchants running fulfillment outside Shopify.]

Will adding bundles slow down my product pages?

[State your actual measured load-time impact — this is worth testing and citing precisely rather than a general claim.]

What permissions does Vista need, and why?

[List exact API scopes requested at install with a one-line reason for each.]
